The envisioned date of grant is the date mentioned on the European Patent Office's notification informing that the patent is ready for grant (pursuant to Art. 97(2) EPC). This date of grant is the date from which the deadline for the validation is calculated. In case you have not yet received the communication pursuant to Art. 97(2) EPC, you can enter a virtual “envisioned date of grant” using the date of communication pursuant Rule 51(4) EPC and adding 4 months, just to allow the calculation of the earliest possible validation deadline.
The filing date is the date of filing of the European patent application. It should be present on the EPO form 2056 annexed to the communication for readiness for grant pursuant Rule 51(4) EPC and also on the communication of grant pursuant Art. 97(2) EPC. This information is mandatory for the cost simulation including annuities.

The publication number corresponds to code (11) on the European patent cover page. It begins by EP, followed by 7 digits. EX.: EP 1 234 567.
A quotation confirmation will be sent to you in the form of a binding offer or binding quotation within 2 working days once you have executed the Pre-order command. Invoicing will be based on the binding quotation.
